“Highwire is an amazing product. The system provides feedback on where your challenges exist and what needs attention. Our Safety Score has increased by 20% in four years while our recordable rate has dropped over 70%. I’d recommend this solution to any contractor.”
“We have worked with Highwire since 2016 and our experience has been extremely positive. The level of support my team has received is world-class. We have used other programs but they are not as user-friendly and easy to work with.”
“Highwire stands apart from other competitors because it only requests relevant data and its software reads and verifies your uploaded safety manuals instantaneously. Uploading the entire manual is much easier than having to pull out individual sections to address specific requirements!”
Highwire’s Safety Assessment Program is an automated solution that provides the most comprehensive and actionable analysis available to both hiring partners and contractors. We utilize cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology developed at Harvard University to analyze a contractor’s safety documentation so results are displayed in seconds.
The program reviews both lagging and leading indicators of risk and normalizes the data for contractor size and type of work performed. Unlike other risk assessment solutions, the program identifies safety gaps that a contractor can use to address, rectify, and improve their score and grow their business.
Hiring partners and general contractors utilize the program to evaluate contractors during the bidding process. For your bid to be considered, you will need to enroll prior to submitting a bid to a hiring partner or general contractor that utilizes the Safety Assessment Program. Completing the enrollment early will provide you with more of an opportunity to adjust your score in the event that you have a low initial score.
Yes, all you need to get started is to answer a few questions about your company, your Tax ID number (US-only) and a valid payment method to enroll in the program. After enrolling, you can log back in at any time to complete any remaining information that you may need to take time to gather. The system will save your progress so you do not need to enter all the information at once.

Highwire’s Financial Assessment Program assists with contractor selection by evaluating a contractor’s financial stability to reduce the risk associated with bankruptcy and default. The program reviews financial statements and analyzes the data based on industry standards and owner/general contractors criteria. The Financial Assessment Program allows hiring partners and general contractors to objectively assess the financial stability of their contracting partners, helping the project team to make an informed decision.
For those contractors required to complete the financial assessment piece, we are ISO and SOC compliant, which means that we meet the most stringent electronic banking requirements. Please let us know if you would like to review our security certifications and we will happily send them to you.
Only the general contractors and hiring partners that you choose to share your information with will be able to see your financial information. The non-disclosure agreement is part of the contracting partner agreement.
Authorized Recipients have agreed with Highwire only to use the Assessments and contracting partner-specific data for their internal purposes and not to share the Assessments or the information you submit with parties outside their review teams. Review teams might include Construction Managers, General Contractors and Insurance Representatives.
